Together with partners from across our vast territory, we have an exciting line-up of activities ranging from hands-on cooking classes, to museum tours, to a magic show – all presented in French and adapted specifically for language-learners.

La Légende du papillon (Butterfly Tale)
The monarch butterfly Patrick wants more than anything to take part in the migration of his swarm, but as he cannot fly because one wing is smaller than the other, he is kept apart from the group.

Go Habs Go!! From the old Forum to the Bell Center, with a stop for food at the Atwater Market, this tour will help you discover the south west area of Montréal. We’ll see some murals, discuss jazz and Nelson Mandela and have a special guided tour of the Olympic Stadium. Come join us!

Join CPF and Éditions Les 400 coups for a monster illustration workshop (!!!) with Maylee Keo, illustrator of the album Alakazoum! written by Jean Leroy and published by Les 400 coups. A reading of the book will be followed by a drawing workshop! Don’t forget to bring paper and the drawing tools you’d like to create with. We also invite you to dress up for the occasion: it’ll be Halloween in no time!

The mayor of St-Victor is proud of the orderliness of his village and he gives full credit for the village’s vigorous success to one individual, his valiant rooster; an astonishingly loud and punctual rooster that awakens all the villagers at precisely 4 o’clock in the morning – every day of the week, be it a work day, a Saturday, a Sunday or a holiday. But some of the villagers have had quite enough of the rooster’s relentless early morning crowing…

Set in 1927, this is the story of how the inhabitants of the village of Saint-Élie-de-Caxton managed to eliminate the grim reaper, after a flash of lightning struck the apple tree of the church, foreshadowing misfortune.
