When did CPF arrive in Nunavut?

Ullukkut!

In 2017, our Quebec project expanded its scope of services to include Nunavut and soon after, our Executive Director and Project Coordinator traveled to Iqaluit to explore this exciting new project! We could not get enough of the North! This trip became an annual fixture for us at CPF – QCNU seeing our team return in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, COVID-19 forced us all to get a little more creative and we were happy to partner with Carrefour Nunavut to bring Goodnight Bags to Iqaluit’s French Summer Camp!

Iqaluit Chapter

The CPF chapter in Iqaluit is composed of our awesome partners, Le Nunavoix, L’association des francophone du Nunavut and Le Carrefour Nunavut. Together, we are bringing French opportunities to youth (and their parents!) in Iqaluit.

Silence, on tourne!

In collaboration with L'association des francophone du Nunavut, this project introduces youth to the world of cinematography, en français!

Le petit passe temps franco

Featured in Le Nunavoix, le petit passe temps franco aims to build French second language skills through word games.

Goodnight Bag

Healthy bedtime routines are essential. The Goodnight Bag aims to promote bilingualism through calming night time activities.
