This interactive program is designed to help parents gain confidence in their daily interactions and support their children who are learning French at school.

Each session lasts 1.5 hours and includes a presentation (including a listening or reading comprehension exercise) and at least one practice session in breakout rooms where learners can practice and interact with each other through questions and answers or role-play.

The program lasts 6 weeks and targets concrete communication objectives such as

  • Introducing oneself and one’s family members
  • Talking about your interests and tastes
  • Registering for an activity
  • Inviting someone to join an activity – accepting and refusing
  • Ordering at a restaurant

Join us for six online lives classes every Wednesday from 7:30-9pm from March 9 – April 13.

Free with CPF membership.

A message from Elia Dirand, our Instructor:

It is with great pleasure that I will be teaching this program that I designed myself. I have been teaching French as a Second Language for many years and have been working with Canadian Parents for French for almost 2 years. Interacting and having fun while learning French is my main goal when teaching.
